Greetings Fairfield City Piranhas swimmers and future swimmers! Summer is fast approaching, and it is time to sign up for swim team.
The Fairfield City Piranhas is a recreation oriented swim team for area youths ages 18 and under who can swim the length of the pool on their own. The team competes in the Tri-County Swim League with public and private pools. The swim season begins the first week in June for practices and concludes with championships in late July.
The Fairfield City Piranhas are very happy to announce that Tommy Harnden will be the new head coach with assistants Jon Ziegler and one to be named later. Kim Braunig is serving again as team coordinator.
Registration Registration for residents and non-residents will be at the Fairfield Community Arts Center on Thursday, May 10th. Our goal this year is to have 100+ swimmers with a maximum of 120. Past year swimmers have the opportunity to preregister for swim team prior to May 10th.
Swimsuits A team swim suit is required for participation. Suits will be available for fitting and to order during the sign-up and suit-up event to be held on May 10th.
Fees Fees for the 2012 Fairfield City Piranhas Swim Team are $90 for City of Fairfield residents and $95 for non-residents. Membership to the Fairfield Aquatic Center is not required.
