PUBLIC UTILITIES DIRECTOR – DAVID E. CROUCH
In his position of Public Utilities Director, Dave manages the Public Utilities Department which includes the Administration as well as Water and Wastewater Divisions. He is ultimately responsible for the day to day operations of the Water and Wastewater Divisions including the Water Distribution System and Water Treatment Plant as well as the Wastewater Collection System and Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Dave began his career with the City of Fairfield as a Meter Reader. Over the years, he was promoted to operator maintenance person and took on the additional duties of safety coordinator and special projects coordinator. He then was named Customer Service Manager before moving into his current position in January, 2009.
Dave holds OEPA Class III Water and Wastewater Certifications; he is a member of the American Water Works Association and the Water Environment Federation. Dave was awarded the OKI Regional Public Service Award.
Dave and his wife Lisa, have two children, Cory and Shelby. Dave enjoys automobile art, archeology and restoring cars. He is a past member and Chairman for the Red Cross and a mediator for the Fairfield Center for Conflict Resolution.
