Make a Difference Day
This annual campaign offers local families a chance to help meet the needs of area charities and outreaches by donating needed supplies.
RASKALS
Have you ever wanted to get involved in your community, but didn’t know how? RASKALS, Random Acts of Simple Kindness Affecting Local Seniors, is a program that not only allows you to help out our local Senior Citizens, but helps get you out and about in our community. We are looking for several individuals or groups to make our next event a huge success. You can sign up online or by calling 867-5348.
Working with our Children’s program with such programs as the Summer Children’s Theater, SMART club (art program), Little Naturalists, Friday Field Trips
Getting involved with seasonal events for our Parks and Recreation Department, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Pumpkin Patch, Holly Days, Father / Daughter Dance, Mother / Son Dance, Mom and Me for Tea
Working with Senior Citizens by volunteering in our Senior Lounge
Ushering for our Theater in the Community Arts Center
Delivering interdepartmental mail for the City
