Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in volunteering, we have opportunities for you.

People volunteer for a variety of reasons. Some volunteer to gain job experience, some to learn new skills, some to be with other people, and some to feel useful and needed. If any of these apply to you, below is a list of opportunities you can get involved in:

Ushering for our Theater in the Community Arts Center

Delivering interdepartmental mail for the City

Working with our Children’s program with such programs as the Summer Children’s Theater, SMART club (art program), Little Naturalists, Friday Field Trips

Getting involved with seasonal events for our Parks and Recreation Department, such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Pumpkin Patch, Holly Days, Father / Daughter Dance, Mother / Son Dance, Mom and Me for Tea

Working with Senior Citizens by volunteering in our Senior Lounge
