Fly an Aerial Apparatus

Requirements and Application for the Use of Aerial Apparatus 

A formal application must be filed and approved by the Director of Parks and Recreation Department 14-days prior to planned use of flying aerial apparatus per Section 100.20 Requirements for Aviation of the “Parks and Recreation Board Site Rules and Regulations”, which states: 

“No person shall operate, take off, or ascend within or from the lands or waters subject to the control of the Parks and Recreation Board in any airplane, flying machine, balloon, glider, unmanned aerial vehicle, or other aerial apparatus except with special approval from the Director through a formal application process. No person shall voluntarily bring, land or alight, within or upon the lands subject to the control of the Parks and Recreation Board, in any airplane, flying machine, balloon, parachute, unmanned aerial vehicle, or other aerial apparatus except with the permission of the Director.”
