The Friends of the Parks Fund is an established fund under the maintenance and oversight of the Fairfield Community Foundation. The fund serves as an avenue for charitable donors who have an interest in supporting the development, improvement and maintenance of recreational activities in the City of Fairfield. Donors are able to contribute funds to be used for charitable purposes as permitted by the Internal Revenue Code, Section 170.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DONATING TO THE FUND?
Donations are used for enhancing and supporting park and recreational facilities, activities and programs that are operated by the Fairfield Parks & Recreation Board and for improvement of property owned by the City of Fairfield, Ohio and operated under the control of the City of Fairfield Parks & Recreation Board.
Your tax-deductible donation supports the initiative of your choice:

The legacy of an individual or favorite memory with a memorial tree or bench.
Park and/or golf course improvements to areas such as shade structures, water fountains, playgrounds and walking paths.
Environmental awareness projects such as establishing pollinator habitats.
HOW DOES THE FRIENDS OF THE PARKS FUND WORK?
1) Fill out the order form to choose which initiative you’d like to make your donation. NOTE: Due to our partnership with the Community Foundation, we can only accept personal/corporate checks.
2) The Parks Department will receive your form and check (made out to the “Fairfield Community Foundation”) and provide the donor with a “receipt” of acceptance.
