Community Events
- Fish at Marsh Park
For this week’s community event, we have planned “Fish at Marsh Park”. Did you know that right now ALL fishing fees are waived for the remainder of the 2020 season? Visitors may fish and launch their boats (canoes or kayaks only, life jacket must be worn at all times) free of charge at Marsh Lake. We are encouraging all fishermen to come out and enjoy the outdoors, as long as everyone is being safe and following local regulations and guidelines. What better way to practice social distancing?
- The lake is open from dawn to dusk.
- Here are some basic guidelines for safe fishing
- Drive to your fishing spots only with your immediate family members and only if everyone is feeling well
- Try not to share fishing gear with others. All fishermen should have their own fishing gear (rod and reels, bait, lures, towels, pliers, and other personal items.
