NOTICE TO BIDDERS
2020 RESOR ROAD AND WINTON ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT
Sealed proposals will be received by the Finance Department of the City of Fairfield, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio until 3:00 P.M. local time on Monday, December 14, 2020, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as 2020 Resor road and winton Road water main replacement and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud.
Detailed specifications and bid forms are on file in the Finance Office at the Fairfield Municipal Building, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio. Cost of the specifications is thirty ($30) per set, non-refundable if obtained as a hardcopy, or no charge if obtained as an electronic version from the City’s public website at
Bids must be submitted on the forms in the Contract Documents and other conditions therein described must be met. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked ‘2020 Resor road and winton Road water main replacement’ on the face of the envelope and display the name and address of the bidder.
Each bid must be accompanied by the following completed documents:
Bids cannot be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening. The City anticipates the contract will be awarded and the notice to proceed will be issued by January 31, 2021. All work must be completed within ONE HUNDRED and TWENTY (120) calendar days after the issuance of Notice to Proceed, but not later than May 31, 2021.
The City of Fairfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to correct or waive irregularities in bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City of Fairfield, Ohio to do so.
