Located on Ross Road near Mack Road, Gilbert Farms Park offers everything from a history lesson to a spot for recreation to a quiet place to read and relax. An automatic gate to the park opens at sunrise and closes at sunset
Sports
Gilbert Farms Park offers pickleball courts, soccer fields, basketball courts and ball diamonds. Residents are encouraged to make use of the park's many amenities, all at no charge. A paved trail offers a place for walking or jogging, and the park's many wide-open spaces are ideal for playing catch or frisbee throwing.
Family Fun
A playground, shelter and picnic facilities make Gilbert Farms Park an ideal place for a family picnic. The park provides an open environment with playground equipment where children can slide, swing and climb.
Living History
Nearly 2 centuries old, the Elisha Morgan Mansion is the centerpiece of Gilbert Farms Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the mansion is a treasured timepiece acquired by the City of Fairfield in 1980. The Elisha Morgan Historic Gardens are maintained by Four Seasons Garden Club of Fairfield and Master Gardeners of Butler County.
