Why donate to the Fairfield Parks Department?
The City of Fairfield Parks Department is committed to providing amazing programs and beautiful spaces for our community to gather and play, with many of these offerings available at no cost. Every donation, big or small, will help enhance parks, programs, and events that make Fairfield a great place to live, work, and play.
How will my donation be used?
100% of donated funds are used to enhance and support the City of Fairfield Parks and Recreation department. Donors have a choice of three initiatives to support:
- Fairfield ‘Friends of the Parks’ (park/golf course improvements) - examples include: programs, preservation, education, playgrounds, paths & trails, shade structures, etc.
- 55 Plus Program Fund supports a variety of enriching activities for adults 55 and older.
- Megan Filipek Memorial Scholarship helps low-income participants experience Parksand Recreation enrichment programs such as pre-school, summer camp, or dance/art classes.
