Dr. Jason McMullan holds the following degrees:

• Bachelor’s Degree from Davidson College
• Medical Degree from Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C.
• Residency at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (Emergency Medicine)
• Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (Emergency Medical Services)

He most recently was an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and is the Associate Director of Research within the Division of EMS at UC Health. He is actively involved in research and been awarded numerous grants towards his research. In addition, he has been published in many medical journals and other related publications.

As medical director, Dr. McMullan provides guidance, leadership, oversight and quality assurance for the paramedics and EMTs within the Fairfield Fire Department. He is also responsible for the creation of protocols for treatment of patients by ems personnel.
