Responsibilities
As Assistant City Manager, Adam is responsible for oversight and administration of the City's primary infrastructure Departments. His role is crucial in ensuring that the government functions efficiently and effectively, delivering essential services to residents on time and on budget. In this capacity, Adam oversees the Public Utilities, Public Works, Parks and Recreation Departments, as well as the City's sustainability efforts through the Fairfield Sustains Plan.
Background
Adam is a life-long resident of Butler County. He earned a Master's Degree from Miami University's Institute of Environmental Sciences, with a focus on water resources management. Prior to his current role, Adam was the Public Utilities Director for Fairfield for nine years. Prior to working for Fairfield, Adam worked as the Regulatory Compliance Manager for Butler County Water and Sewer, and more recently as the Compliance and Safety Superintendent for Cincinnati Water Works and MSD. Adam holds a Class III Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certificate for Water Supply and a Class II certificate for Wastewater Treatment.
Personal Interests/Family
Adam and his wife Sarah and their three young sons reside in Fairfield. Adam enjoys football and golf, as well as kayaking and spending time at Lake Cumberland.
