Rob is the senior pastor at Fairfield West Baptist Church where he has served for 15 years. In 1992 as a member of Fairfield West, Rob transferred from Miami University to Baptist Bible College in Springfield Missouri to prepare for the ministry. Upon finishing his degrees, Rob received an invitation to come back home and join the Fairfield West ministry team as youth pastor. When the Fairfield West Baptist Church found itself without a lead pastor in June of 2000, Rob was asked to serve as the interim pastor. In December of that same year, Rob was voted in as the senior pastor where he has served until the present. Rob is a seminary graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg Virginia and has received a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Religious Education with an emphasis in leadership. Rob continues to further his education at Liberty Theological Seminary.

Rob established a coalition of community partners that seek to meet community needs. The Community Action of Compassion was organized as a community initiative consisting of local businesses, community organizations, faith based organizations and concerned citizens to partner together for the purpose extending compassion in meeting the basic needs of the community's impoverished. The Community Action of Compassion seeks to strengthen the community by identifying family need and then mitigate the circumstances of poverty through medical, social and educational support. Currently the collaboration is providing food assistance to Butler County's neediest families, clothing through Re-Threads (a free clothing store) and medical/dental assistance by partnering with community physicians. A mentoring program has been established for children to receive additional support after school in which the Fairfield City School Board has adopted a resolution to reproduce this program throughout the district. Rob is committed in developing a stronger community by organizing community initiatives which offer support and compassion to those in need. Personal Interests/Family
Rob has been married to his wife Jessica since 1993 and has 2 boys and 1 girl. He enjoys spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle.
