Biography
Debbie Pennington was born in Hamilton, Ohio. She has been a Resident of Fairfield for 45+ years and is married to her High School Sweetheart Dan Pennington for 52 years. Together, they have a daughter, son and five grandchildren all residing in the City of Fairfield.
Education
Debbie graduated from Hamilton Taft High School- Attended Miami University.
Professional
Currently she is employed as a realtor with Sibcy Cline, Inc. in Fairfield where she has worked for the past 32+ years. Debbie has been a realtor for 48 years. She has earned her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)designation. She has also served on the Board of Realtors as a Director, Secretary, Treasurer, and President. Debbie is also a Certified Butler County Probate Appraiser.
Community Involvement
Debbie is in her second term on Fairfield City Council served 2012-2019, where she was Vice Mayor for 2 of those years.
Before serving on Council, she volunteered for her City on the Charter Review Commission 2 years, the Board of Zoning appeals for 5 years and a member of the 50th anniversary Committee for the City of Fairfield. She was a recipient of a key to the City of Fairfield for chairing the Beautification Project for our Post Office.
She was elected by her district to serve on the Bulter County Republican Party Central Committee.
Currently- President Fairfield Historical Society 15+ years
Currently-Fairfield Women Member Joined 2004- serving President twice.
