Fairfield Community Arts Center

The Fairfield Community Arts Center, adjacent to beautiful Village Green Park, can make your event unforgettable. From the sweeping Deco-inspired design of the lobby to the soaring glass walls of the Art Gallery, to the warmth and hospitality of the banquet room, your guests will enjoy our award-winning and distinctive venue.

Amenities in the Community Room include built-in service areas, an oak dance floor, a charming bay window, three vaulted ceilings, and private access to the balcony overlooking picturesque Village Green Park.

The Community Room provides an ideal setting for weddings, dinners, dances, luncheons, parties, and business meetings. The 2,700-foot banquet room can seat just under 200 for dinner with a dance floor or can be divided into three smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings or meetings.

Looking for an intimate location for your wedding ceremony? The Art Gallery on the first floor makes an elegant and artistically unique setting. Want a more dramatic flair? Ask about renting the Theatre to truly put your ceremony at center stage.

Perfect for smaller events on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Can accommodate up to 35 guests at small café tables. Includes direct access to outside area. Rental is limited to Saturdays between 1PM and 6PM, and on Sundays when the Arts Center is otherwise open. Includes set-up of all tables and chairs, as well as on-site.

Planning Your Wedding Reception or Banquet

A 5-hour rental of the Community Room includes the set up of tables and chairs and the use of available AV equipment for an additional fee. Visit the linked pages in the left column for more information or download a complete Rental Packet. 

Catering

Catering should be coordinated with one of our Preferred Caterers. With 15 currently on the list, there are choices to fit every taste and budget. The CAC is proud to be your preferred beverage and alcohol provider. View the Beverage Service information.

Policies

You do not have to be a resident of Fairfield to rent a room at the Community Arts Center, but residents do receive a 10% discount on select room rentals.

You can hold your preferred date for up to 2 weeks without payment while you finalize your plans.

Elisha Morgan Mansion at Gilbert Farms Park

The Parks and Recreation Department also manages the Elisha Morgan Mansion on Ross Road. This beautifully restored circa 1817 historic home is perfect for small parties, rehearsal dinners, or intimate wedding receptions. Includes use of lawn area and outdoor gazebo. (Outdoor ceremonies in the gazebo must secure rental of the Elisha Morgan Mansion.) Seating inside the mansion for 42 on the first floor, with additional seating for 24 on the second floor, and an outdoor veranda that seats 40. Ceremony chairs available to rent.

Phalen Banquet Center at South Trace Golf Course

Our beautiful banquet center, located at the South Trace Golf Course, is available for parties, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners and receptions. Rentals are available from only November through February with seating up to 120. Our spectacular scenic view cannot be beat!

Shelter Rentals

Many of our City Parks have shelters and gazebos for your enjoyment. Shelters and gazebos at all parks (except Harbin Park and Gilbert Farms Park) are available on a first come first serve basis, at no charge. Shelters at Harbin Park and Gilbert Farms Park are available to rent for a fee. 

Harbin Park Shelter Rental - 1300 Hunter Rd.

Harbin Park offers seven picnic shelters, overlook shelter, stone shelter and a gazebo to rent. Shelter reservations begin each year on the first business day in February. 

Call the Fairfield Parks and Recreation office at 513-867-5348 to check availability. Reservations must be made in person at the Fairfield Parks and Recreation office located at the Fairfield Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Drive. Please review the Harbin Park shelter map to help decide what area/shelter best suits your needs. 

Shelters (including Stone Shelter) have picnic tables and a small grill and can accommodate around 50 people. The Overlook Shelter has a fire pit and table seating for 50 but will accommodate 75-100 with additional seating. 

**Shelter 10 is not available for rent until further notice due to construction.

Gilbert Farms Park Shelter Rental - 6181 Ross Rd. 

Located adjacent to the paved loop walking trail and playground, the picnic shelter at Gilbert Farms Park is the ideal location for gatherings, family reunions, and birthday parties. With easy access to the park's open green spaces, pickleball courts, soccer fields, basketball courts, and ball diamonds, guests of all ages can enjoy a relaxing and fun-filled event. Shelter reservations begin each year on the first business day in February.
