Backyard Wildlife Habitats

Property owners are encouraged to preserve Backyard Wildlife Habitats and to plant and maintain trees, subject to other applicable ordinances.  The information on this page, as well as the information on the websites linked to this page, contains valuable information regarding backyard habitats.  Property owners that decide to develop a backyard habitat must also abide by Fairfield Codified Ordinances, Section 557, Noxious Weeds and Litter (specifically Sections 557.02 and 557.03).
