Functions of the Human Resources Office

We have approximately 500 employees, consisting of full-time, part-time and seasonal, with 7 divisions spread over 10 locations. 

The Human Resources Office is responsible for the following:

  • Management of employee lifecycle from recruitment to job exit
  • Administration of compensation and benefits
  • Performance Evaluations
  • Workers Compensation
  • Labor Relations
  • Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Employee relations and recognition
  • Legal compliance and workplace safety
  • Training 
  • Partnering with management on strategic workforce planning and development
  • Civil Service Liaison
