Meetings
The Commission meets on the second Tuesday of every other month (January, March, May, July, September, November) at 6:00 p.m.
Meetings take place at the Fairfield Community Arts Center, 411 Wessel Drive, Fairfield, OH 45014.

The Cultural Arts Advisory Commission consists of nine members. The Community Events Coordinator and Production Manager for the Parks and Recreation Department attend all meetings of the Cultural Arts Advisory Commission and may take part in all discussions of the Commission, but do not have the voting rights to any matter before the Commission.
Duties & Functions
The Fairfield Cultural Arts Advisory Commission shall serve as an advisory group to the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Board dedicated to the promotion of cultural arts within the City of Fairfield and specifically to:
- EDUCATION - Assist the Parks and Recreation Board in the education of the public about the importance of the arts to the community.
- MARKETING - Assist the Parks and Recreation Board in informing the public of arts activities available to the community.
- PARTNERSHIPS - Assist the Parks and Recreation Board in developing community partnerships (civic groups, businesses, non-profits, other cultural arts groups, etc.) to advance the goals of the CAAC.
- FUNDRAISING - Assist the Parks and Recreation Board in fundraising (grants, events, donations, etc.) for arts programming. Accept grants on behalf of the Parks and Recreation Board and the City of Fairfield.
- PROGRAMMING - Assist the Parks and Recreation Board in the programming of its cultural arts facilities by exploring and presenting cultural arts opportunities for the City of Fairfield.
