The parade will feature veterans groups, military units, the Fairfield High School Marching Band, community groups and organizations, the Fairfield Police Department, and Fairfield Fire and Paramedic units.
The Hamilton/Fairfield Concert Band will be performing patriotic music and other favorites at Veterans Memorial Park starting at 10 a.m. The parade concludes with a brief ceremony to pay tribute to our veterans, both past and present, at Veterans Memorial Park. Guest speakers include representatives from local veterans groups and City of Fairfield Mayor Steve Miller.
For safety reasons, throwing candy is prohibited. Political campaigning of any kind is prohibited. Only seated elected officials are eligible to participate. The Fairfield Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to reject all registrations deemed inappropriate for the parade.
Parade line up is from 9:15 to 9:45 am. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. sharp!

2019 Parade Route
The parade departs from Express Scripts (4865 Dixie Highway) to head south on Hicks Blvd.
Turns right to head west on Nilles Rd.
Turns left onto Bibury Rd.
Turns right onto Wessel Dr and ends at Veterans Memorial Park, 701 Wessel Dr.
Following the parade, a ceremony will take place at Veterans Memorial Park. Please plan to stay and pay tribute to our veterans, both past and present.
NEW to 2019 - After the City’s Memorial Day Ceremony, the Cincy Submarine Veterans will take over the ceremony from 1 pm – 3 pm to honor the Tolling of the Boats, to perpetuate the memory of shipmates who gave their lives in the pursuit of duties while serving the country.
