South Gilmore between Resor and Route 4 experiences a very high rate of accidents.  By narrowing lanes and providing a two-way left-turn lane, the City hopes to slow traffic and provide refuge for turning vehicles.  The project will also see the completion of a sidewalk from Mack Road to Route 4 and the High School.

This project is currently in design with anticipated construction anticipated to begin in 2025.  The City anticipates seeking outside funding to offset the cost of construction.
