The City of Fairfield has established Chapter 725 of the Fairfield Code of Ordinances which requires that solicitors obtain a permit from the Police Department.

The Special Needs Registry is a voluntary program that collects valuable information to help first responders interact with individuals in the community that may have difficulty communicating, processing instructions, or responding to emergency personnel during critical, high-stress situations.

Vacation Home Checks
When residents plan on going out of town for an extended period, they can sign up for our Vacation Home Check service. Officers will periodically check a vacant residence, looking for signs of suspicious activity or things out of place.
