The Seward Road Culvert Extension project included the extension of the west side of the culvert near the historic Miami-Erie Canal bike path trailhead on Seward Road. The existing headwall was deteriorated and was rebuilt. Engineering was completed in 2015. In addition to the culvert work, a Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (RRFB) was added to this project to facilitate safer crossing of bikes and pedestrians. Installation of the RRFB was completed by Public Works personnel.
